A mum from Cornwall has made a heartfelt plea to find her son who has gone missing.

Charley Reid from Par was last seen on Sunday 4th October, at around midday.

The 25-year-old left his keys, cash and phone all behind at home and has not been seen or heard from since.

Mum Emma has told Pirate FM that the family just want to know that he is safe and well.

"The support we've had has been phenomenal. All Charley's friends have been out looking for him in places they think he might be.

"We are hoping that someone must know something.

"This is completely out of character for him, and it's a difficult time to say the least.

"We just want Charley to know that nobody is angry at him, we just want to know that he's safe."

Charley is described as 5'4" tall and of medium build. He was last seen wearing a blue hoodie and light coloured trousers. He was possibly carrying a rust coloured rucksack.

Anyone who sees him or who has any information is asked to contact Devon and Cornwall Police via 101, quoting log number 730 of 4th October.
