Several pockets of land owned by Cornwall Council are being auctioned off in Cornwall.

The areas include Callington, a path in St Blazey and a verge in St Austell.

All areas of land had a minimum bidding price of £10 and some were sold for as little as £300.

In sharp contrast, some pieces of land were sold for as much as £30,000

David Henwood from Clive Emson Auctioneers explained the variations price and said some pieces of land simply had more value, but stressed: "bidding breeds confidence."

He added: "If there's keen interest the sky's the limit."

Some pieces of land are still available and bids can be made exclusively on the Clive Emson Auctioneers website.
