Young biker from Cornwall suffers serious injuries following crash

Police say a young biker from Launceston has suffered serious injuries after a crash across the Tamar.
The casualty, who is in his 30s, had to be airlifted to Derriford Hospital on Sunday afternoon, with serious injuries to both his legs.
Officers say his motorbike and a car collided on the A386 at Mary Tavy at around 2.30pm on 28th August, closing the road for into the evening.
A 73-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of careless driving and driving whilst unfit.
Devon & Cornwall Police say he has since been released under investigation, pending further enquiries.
A force spokesperson said: "Police were called at around 2:30pm on Sunday 28 August following reports of a collision on the A386 at Mary Tavy between a VW Tiguan and a Honda CBR 600 motorcycle.
"The rider, a man in his 30s from the Launceston area, sustained serious injuries to both legs and was taken to Derriford by air ambulance.
"The road remained closed for a considerable amount of time and was reopened at around 8pm, once full lift of the vehicles and clean-up had taken place.
"A 73-year-old man from the Exeter area was arrested on suspicion of careless driving and driving whilst unfit. He has since been released under investigation pending further enquiries.
