If the roadmap out of lockdown goes to plan, we could be allowed to hug friends and family as soon as May.

Boris Johnson is hopeful we could be free of all restrictions by June 21st.

The four-stage process starts with schools reopening on March 8th.

Haircuts would be possible from the 12th of April, along with beer garden pints.

But we would have to wait till the middle of May for meals and drinks INSIDE pubs and some in Cornwall are worried.

The landlord of The Old Inn at St Breward says he is 'devastated' that pubs will not be able to serve meals and drinks indoors until after Easter

Darren Wills has owned The Old Inn at St Breward for 22 years and is disappointed.

"We've got twelve or fourteen beer garden tables but it is weather dependent and with getting stocks in - in terms of beer and food - it's only got a certain shelf-life. You need to be turning that over for it all to be viable.

"Staff need to come off furlough, get them back in, how many do you get in? I just can't see - I need to get pen to paper and the calculator out but I think, in my head, I'll be opening in mid-May.

"Easter and sort of Mother's Day are a huge kick-off for us, being seasonal; it's devastating.

"Although holiday lets can open, we can't. So technically visitors can't go anywhere when they're down over Easter. Of course, weather dependent, they might be able to go to a pub - if it's a nice day.

"As long as this is the last lockdown, we then can trade as normal as best we can.

"Whether it be parties of six and two metres and one-way systems which is all doable - we've done it for the last few months we've been able to be open - we'll survive and going forward it'll be fine.

"But I think this needs to be the last lockdown and hopefully, from mid-May when we can trade inside the pub, we can get back to a little bit of normality".
