Cornwall coves share same sand tones as beaches in Australia, Bali and Hawaii

The sand tones of several coves in Cornwall are being compared to tropical beaches in Australia, Bali and Hawaii!
Parkdean Resorts has released new research to compare the colour of sand at various locations around the UK.
It says Kynance on the Lizard is a match to Hyams Beach in Australia, describing its sand tone as "icy" and its waters as "crystal clear".
Then there's Fistral Beach in Newquay and Kelingking Beach in Bali, which also appear to share the same sand tone.
Parkdean Resorts says: "Fistral Beach is known as the home of surfing. This family friendly beach has the same creamy sand tone as Kelingking beach located in Bali. Although Bali may have tropical weather, Fistral Beach has the fun lively atmosphere that so many Brits are craving this summer!"
While the golden sands of Watergate Bay are a direct comparison to Tunnels Beach in Hawaii.
Parkdean Resorts says: "Watergate Bay boasts the same gorgeous golden sand tone as Tunnels Beach in Hawaii. With waves rolling in from the Atlantic, Watergate Bay is the perfect place for surfers or active families looking for an invigorating staycation".
Other comparisons in the south-west include the Isles of Scilly's Appletree Bay to Cala Goloritzé in Italy, Bournemouth and Navagio Beach, which sits off Zakynthos in Greece and Dorset's Durdle Door to Walvis Bay in Namibia.
