Police have been called to a village in south east Cornwall amid concerns for welfare for two people.

Officers got the shout to Langreek Lane, Polperro, at around 12.15pm on Friday lunchtime.

It is being reported that there is a police cordon in the area.

It is not yet known what the nature of the incident is but emergency services remain on the scene.

In a statement, Devon an Cornwall Police said: "Police were called at 12.15pm today to a property on Langreek Lane, Polperro, following reports of concern for the welfare of two people at an address.

"Emergency services remain at the scene at this time."
