Police have confirmed two children were among those injured after reports of falling debris from a property in the centre of Newquay.
A 10-year-old boy spent the night in hospital after suffering a fractured leg on Fore Street on Tuesday afternoon (16th August).
Two other people, a 43-year-old woman and a six-year-old boy, suffered minor injuries.
Emergency services attended the scene, which has since been fenced off and made safe.
However, Fore Street remains closed due to what Inrix Traffic and Travel have described as an "unsafe building".
In a statement, Devon & Cornwall Police said: "Police were called to reports of falling debris at a property in Fore Street, Newquay, at around 4.25pm on Tuesday 16th August.
"A 43-year-old woman and a six-year-old boy, who sustained minor injuries, were taken to hospital and were discharged after treatment.
"A 10-year-old boy sustained a fractured leg and remained in hospital overnight.
"Emergency services attended the scene, which has since been fenced off and made safe".
Inrix Traffic and Travel said: "Fore Street One Way Street closed due to unsafe building from Broad Street to The Red Lion Pub. Closed since early yesterday evening, after falling debris from a property. Affecting traffic out of Newquay".
