Land Rover flips after crash near Penzance... trapping casualty inside

A man has had to be cut free after a Land Rover flipped onto its side near Penzance.

Firefighters, police and paramedics were called to the crash at Gulval.

The casualty was trapped and crews had to use special equipment to get him out.

It happened on Thursday afternoon (15th April) but no details have been released on the extent of his injuries.

"Critical Control received a request from the police to assist with one male who was trapped in a Land Rover that was on its side.

"Two appliances from Penzance and the Rescue Tender from Tolvaddon attended along with two FDS Officers.

"Fire crews were able to release the casualty using cutting equipment.

"Police and Ambulance were also on scene.

"There are no further details for this incident".
