Police investigating after cars were spray painted around Bodmin

It is believed that two teenagers were responsible

It's believed two teenagers have been spray painting cars around Bodmin.

Police say they received multiple reports about vehicles being targeted around Rock Lane and Trelawney Road on Wednesday night.

One youngster was detained and another has been identified.

Anyone who saw what happened, or who has CCTV or ring doorbell footage, is being asked to contact officers.

Bodmin Police posted on Facebook: "At approximately 1800-1900hrs last night (Wednesday 6th April 2022) there were multiple crime reports received in relation to damage caused to motor vehicles having been spray painted in the area of Rock Lane and Trelawney Road.

"Two juvenile males were said to be involved and, upon police attendance, one of those males was detained whilst the other has been identified.

"If you were in the area at the time and witnessed anything or have CCTV/Ring doorbell footage (or other similar device) please get in touch with us quoting crime reference number CR/029027/22."
