A car has landed headfirst in a Cornish stream after it rolled downhill from where it was parked and into the water.

The blue Vauxhall Corsa was parked at the Coombe Barton Inn in Crackington Haven near Bude over the weekend. Unfortunately it later ended up taking a quick dip!

The pub posted a picture of the car on Facebook, joking that it was "how to park for free in Cracky!".

Other people also saw the funny side of the incident, with one person commenting: "This is what happens when you paint double yellows on the road... noted".

Another said: "Didn't know you was offering a valet park option with an under chassis wash".

It's reported to be the second time in 24 hours that a car parked at the pub has ended up in the stream.
