Deceased named after double death in Camelford

Police have named two people who were found deceased in a property in Camelford.

Emergency services were called to a property in Treclago View at around 10pm on Wednesday 24 September following a concern for the welfare of the two people.

A police cordon was established while enquiries were ongoing at the scene, but this has since been lifted.

Husband and wife, Anthony Buxton, 71, and Michelle Buxton, 69, were pronounced deceased at the scene.

Michele’s death is being treated as suspicious, and both fatalities are linked.

Officers are not looking for anyone else in connection with the deaths.
