A 12-year-old boy has been airlifted to hospital after an alleged hit and run in north Cornwall.

The youngster suffered a serious ankle injury after the collision at St Teath.

Police say a car failed to stop on Wednesday afternoon (13th October).

However, officers say a driver is now helping with their enquiries.
