Appeal after woman’s body found in Cornwall
Police are appealing for witnesses after a woman’s body was located in Cornwall
Emergency services were called to the bottom of cliffs in Porthtowan on at 2.55pm on Saturday (8 February) afternoon.
They were responding to reports of a body being found in the area.
The ambulance service and Coastguard were both also called.
The body was recovered to the beach by lifeboat.
The body is believed to be that of a woman in her 20s from the Truro area - formal identification is yet to take place.
The death is being treated as unexplained but is not believed to be suspicious.
