Police searching for a missing man from Cornwall say a body's been found.

Officers were alerted to reports of a body on the water near Doyden Castle in Port Isaac, at around 1:45pm on Monday 26 July.

The body was retrieved with assistance from the RNLI and was declared dead at the scene.

Formal identification is yet to take place but the family of 35-year-old Harry Dalkins, who was missing from Lelant, have been told.

The death is not being treated as suspicious and a file is to be prepared for the coroner.
