Body found near Bassetts Cove in Cornwall
The death is being treated as unexplained but not suspicious
A body has been found near Bassetts Cove in Cornwall this morning (11th June).
Police, the coastguard and RNLI were called to the scene at 11:30am today.
The death is being treated as unexplained.
A Devon and Cornwall Police Spokesperson told us:
“Police were in attendance near Bassetts Cove, Cornwall after a body was located at around 11.30am today.
"Colleagues from the Coastguard and the RNLI also assisted officers at the scene.
“Police are currently treating the death as unexplained but there are not thought to be any suspicious circumstances.”
