Biker 'seriously injured' in crash that closed main road through Falmouth

A biker is believed to have suffered a serious leg injury after a crash in Falmouth.

Their motorbike and a car collided on Clifton Crescent on Monday morning (13th September).

Police and paramedics were called to Clifton Crescent shortly before 7.30am.

The road meets the A39 at Dracaena Avenue which was closed in both directions, but has since reopened.

Devon and Cornwall Police said: "Police were called at around 7.20am today to Clifton Crescent following reports of a collision involving a car and a motorbike.

"The bike rider is believed to have sustained a serious leg injury and was assessed at the scene before being taken to hospital.

"The road was closed whilst emergency services are in attendance but has since been reopened".
