Biker taken to hospital after crash with car in St Austell
The air ambulance was called to the scene and the road was closed
A biker has been taken to hospital after a crash involving a car and a motorbike in St Austell.
Police, paramedics and the air ambulance were all called to the scene just after 2pm on Monday afternoon.
The man was taken to Treliske but it is not yet known if he has been seriously injured.
The road was closed for just under two hours and has now reopened.
"We were called with reports of a collision between a car and a motorcycle on the A391, St Austell, at around 2.05pm.
"Paramedics and the air ambulance also attended the scene.
"The male motorcycle rider has been taken to hospital in Treliske. The extent of any injuries is not currently known.
"The road was reopened at around 3.50pm."

Inrix Traffic and Travel was reporting that there was heavy traffic in the area.
"A391 Westbound closed, heavy traffic due to accident, a car and motorcycle involved from Trenowah Road to Menear Road.
"Road is closed between the two roundabouts to assist."
