This picture, taken during a wildlife boat trip off the north coast of Cornwall, is being described as the best dolphin photo Padstow Sealife Safaris has ever seen!

George Cook caught the playful animal on camera last week, describing it as a magical experience.

He said they followed the pod for about an hour, who repeatedly came close to the boat.

So close, in fact, that those enjoying the tour could hear them clicking!

Nature and wildlife photographer George Cook, who goes by the handle @georgecuckoo on Instagram, described it as a magical experience.

"One of the best wildlife moments of my life last week! Dolphins!

"For about an hour, a pod of common dolphins joined our Sea Safari with @padstowsealifesafaris.

"We couldn't believe out luck as they flung themselves out of the water clearly having as much fun as we were watching them.

"They were so close to the boat, I could barely focus my camera on them and we could even hear them clicking as they swam past.

"There was even a teeny baby who, according to Emma our guide, can be the size of a rugby ball when born!

"Highly recommend if you are in Cornwall this summer. Just a magic experience that a will definitely remember for a really long time!".
