Two men arrested on suspicion of attempted murder in Liskeard released on bail
Devon & Cornwall Police have confirmed a 29-year-old man remains in hospital with serious injuries
Two men, arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after an 'altercation' in Liskeard, have been released on bail.
Police have issued an update, after being called to incident on Fore Street on Wednesday night.
A 29-year-old man was given medical treatment after suffering a suspected stab wound to his side.
Devon & Cornwall Police say he remains in hospital with serious injuries.
In an updated statement released on Friday morning (2nd July), the force said: "The victim, a 29-year-old man, remains in hospital with serious injuries.
"Two 29-year-old men from Liskeard were arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and have since been released on police bail until 26th July.
"Officers are continuing their enquiries".
