Asda’s Hayle Harbour store has been temporarily closed after recent "adverse weather conditions" caused a section of the exterior wall to collapse.

A spokesperson for Asda said the closure is for safety reasons and explained that a small area outside the store has also been cordoned off.

They added: "We’d like to thank customers for their understanding and will let them know when we’re ready to reopen.”

Nearby stores in Penzance Express and Falmouth are operating as usual.
