Arson suspected after fire destroys car and damages home in Truro
Police have confirmed several nearby properties had to be evacuated

A fire that totally destroyed a car and damaged a home in Truro is being treated as arson.
Police say the BMW was set alight in the Beechwood Parc area in the early hours of Sunday 4th September.
It happened shortly after 2am, when several nearby properties had to be evacuated.
Devon & Cornwall Police say no-one was injured, but the blaze damaged the paintwork of the owner's property and caused cracked windows.
A local man in his 20s was arrested on suspicion of arson with intent and has been released on bail, pending further enquiries.
Statement from Devon & Cornwall Police
A force spokesperson said: "Police are investigating a suspicious car fire in Truro.
"The BMW was set alight in Beechwood Parc around 2.05am on Sunday 4th September.
"Police and the fire service attended.
"Several nearby properties were evacuated.
"The car was destroyed by fire and fire damage was caused to the paintwork of the owner's home. The fire also caused cracked windows in the house.
"No-one was injured.
"The fire is being treated as arson.
"A man in his 20s from Truro was arrested on suspicion of arson with intent.
"He has been bailed until 30th September pending further enquiries".
