Three men have been arrested following a drugs raid in Bodmin town centre.

Officers executed a warrant at an address of Fore Street on Tuesday afternoon and a 'significant' amount of cannabis plants were found.

It is reported that there was a large police presence in the area.

Teams are now working to dismantle the set-up and remain on the scene.

A spokesperson for Devon & Cornwall Police said: "Police are currently at an address on Fore Street, Bodmin, after executing a Misuse of Drug Act warrant late yesterday afternoon (Tuesday 19 January).

"Within the property police located a significant cannabis grow.

"Officers are currently dismantling the set-up and seizing the plants as part of the investigation.

"Three men aged 21, 28 & 28 have been arrested on suspicion cultivating and / or supply of a controlled drug."
