Appeal to trace group of men after Bodmin incident

A man remains in a stable condition in hospital

Police investigating a serious assault in Bodmin say they want to speak to a group of men seen in the area at the time.

Officers were called at around 1.30am on Thursday 15 December to Ringway Flats in Bodmin following reports of an altercation taking place.

Units attended and located a man in his 20s who had sustained serious injuries. He was taken to hospital for treatment where he remains in a stable condition.

Officers are keen to identify and speak with a group of males who were present in the area of the Texaco garage on Dennison Road, Bodmin, between 1.10am and 1.30am on Thursday 15 December.

A woman in her 20s from the St Austell area, was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and has been released on police bail, to return on Monday 6 March 2023.

Police are appealing for witnesses who may have seen any suspicious activity in the area and would like to hear from anyone who may have CCTV, dashcam or doorbell camera footage between 1-1.45am that could aid the investigation.
