11-year-old boy found safe after going missing from Redruth area

Kayden Mills' disappearance had triggered an urgent appeal from police

Police have confirmed an 11-year-old boy, missing from the Redruth area, has been found safe.

Kayden Mills was last seen at his home in the early hours of Monday morning (16th May).

Officers were carrying out searches and enquiries amid growing concerns for his welfare.

They later issued an appeal for the public's help, asking anyone who spotted Kayden to call 999.

However within one hour of sharing that, they confirmed the youngster had been located.

The force said: "11-year-old Kayden Mills, who was reported missing this morning from his home in Redruth, has been located safe and well.

"Officers would like to thank the public for sharing and assisting with this appeal".
