Appeal after two-vehicle crash near Launceston leaves people injured

Police want to hear from anyone who saw what happened on Sunday afternoon

An appeal has gone out after a two vehicle crash near Launceston.

It happened at Piper's Pool on Sunday afternoon and officers say several people were injured.

Anyone who saw what happened at around 2pm is asked to contact police.

"Police are appealing for witnesses following a two vehicle collision which took place on the A395 at Piper’s Pool near Launceston.

"The incident occurred at around 2pm on Sunday 13th September and involved a black Vauxhall Insignia and a silver Honda Jazz. Occupants of both of the vehicles received injuries as a result of the collision.

"Localised closures were put in place to assist emergency services while at the scene."
