Appeal to find woman after Truro protest encouraged people to break Covid rules

Police have launched an appeal following a protest in Truro that encouraged people to break the Covid-19 rules.

It took place outside Truro Cathedral and saw restrictions around social distancing being broken.

The incident happened back in November but officers have just released photos of a woman they want to speak to.

They believe she may have vital information which could help with the investigation.

"Police are appealing for information after members of the public were encouraged to break Covid-19 restrictions during a protest in Truro on Saturday 14th November.

"The incident, involving the incitement of others to break the law relating to social distancing regulations, occurred outside Truro Cathedral at around 1pm.

"Police would particularly like to speak to the woman pictured because it is believed she may have vital information which could assist police enquiries."
