Coach fire in Cornwall closes part of A30

Crews from Bodmin, Launceston and Liskeard were at the scene

Part of the A30 in Cornwall was shut earlier due to a coach on fire.

The road was closed between Bolventor to Altarnun for the the safety of Cornwall Fire and Rescue crews.

Appliances from Bodmin and Launceston and a water carrier from Liskeard have been in attendance were at the scene from 12.10pm.

Officers from Devon and Cornwall Police are on the scene also been assisting with the road closure.

In a Tweet from Cornwall Fire and Rescue Service, they said: "Appliances from Bodmin CFRS, Launceston CFRS and a water carrier from Liskeard CFRS are currently in attendance at a coach on fire on the A30.

"The A30 has been closed for the safety of our crews in the area of #Bolventor to #Altarnun."

All passengers on board were evacuated safely.
