Overnight closures planned for the A30 this week ahead of weekend closure

Drivers are being urged to plan ahead and allow extra time for journeys

There are various overnight closures planned on the A30 this week.

From 8.00pm - 6.00am tonight (Monday 19 February), the road will be shut between Scorrier and Boxheater. You can find diversion routes here.

On Tuesday 20, Wednesday 21 and Thursday 22, there will closures between Scorrier and Carland Cross from 8.00pm - 6.00am each night. Diversion details can be found here.

It comes ahead of a weekend closure of the A30 between Boxheater and Scorrier from Friday 23 February at 8.00pm until Monday 26 February at 6.00am.

Traffic will be diverted via the B3285, A3075 and B3277 with different routes for HGVs. You can view the diversion routes here.

For all of the above closures, local access north and south at the new Chiverton interchange and via the B3284 at Chybucca will be maintained throughout.

National Highways is urging drivers to plan ahead and allow extra time for journeys.

The new A30 dual carriageway is scheduled to be opened at the end of this winter.
