A school in west Cornwall will be closed for 3 days due to Covid-19

A letter to parents says the decision to shut Illogan School near Redruth from November 18 was made due to a number of positive tests.

The Headteacher of Illogan School near Redruth has decided to shut down the whole school for 3 days because of a number of positive coronavirus tests.

In a letter to parents Mrs Jo Knuckey states after closing Year 1 and EYFS bubbles it's taken the 'difficult decision' to shut the school so it can be deep cleaned.

Year 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6 bubbles should be able to return on Monday November 23rd.
