78-year-old taken to hospital following single-vehicle crash in Truro

Police are appealing for witnesses following a single-vehicle crash in Truro.

It happened at 12.16pm yesterday (Sunday 12 February) on the A390, Higher Besore Road - between the Langarth Park and Ride roundabout and Truro College Roundabout.

South West Ambulance Service, Cornwall Fire and Rescue and Devon and Cornwall Police attended the incident.

A 78-year-old driver was located in the vehicle and was taken to Treliske Hospital.

This section of the A390 was closed for 7 hours while Police investigated the collision.

Officers from the Roads Policing Team are appealing for any witnesses - particularly those with dashcam footage of the collision - to come forward quoting log 364 of 12 February 2023.
