15 people bailed following police search near Camborne during the G7

Police have confirmed 15 people, arrested after a stop and search near Camborne, have been released on bail.

Officers carried out a warrant at Clowance Wood Nurseries in Praze on Saturday afternoon (12th June).

They seized items including spray paint, scaffolding and gas horns.

Those taken into custody on suspicion of conspiracy to commit public nuisance have been released on bail until July.

In a statement released on Sunday evening (13th June), Devon & Cornwall Police said enquiries remain ongoing.

"15 people have released on police bail following a search at Clowance Wood Nurseries in Praze during the afternoon of Saturday 12 June.

"A warrant was carried out under section 8 of the Police and Criminal Evidence Act following information received by police.

"Items including spray paint, scaffolding and gas horns were located and have been seized by police.

"15 people were arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to commit public nuisance and were taken into custody.

"They have since been released on police bail until 9 July 2021.

"Enquiries remain ongoing at this time".
