13 vehicles have now been damaged in a spate of arson attacks across Bodmin.

Two more were set on fire in the early hours of Tuesday morning (28th September).

It comes following a series of other reports across the town over the past few months.

Firefighters say the blazes are deliberate and they are urging the public to be vigilant.

They are also warning that it is putting a strain on already stretched services.

Bodmin Community Fire Station said: "So, at approximately 03.24 on Tuesday morning we were called to a further two vehicles on fire, these bring the total number of vehicles damaged to 13 in the past few months.

"We were supported by Lostwithiel Community Fire Station to help with this incident.

"These are deliberate fires and we are appealing to the public for vigilance and information about who is doing it.
