Police are trying to reunite jewellery worth around £10,000 with its owners - after it was found in a river in Cornwall.

A member of the public found the jewellery when diving in the Helford river, near Falmouth, and contacted police.

Police have released pictures of what was found - some of it was in yellow metal, which in the pictures is marked 'ym':

PC Victoria Swan said: “Some of the rings and pendants are very distinctive. We are hoping to find the owner as it is clear the jewellery is of huge sentimental value.”

If you recognise the jewellery or know who it belongs to, call Devon and Cornwall Police on 101 quoting property reference A/539475.
