1,000 cannabis plants seized following police raid at property in Bodmin

Officers say it takes a "considerable amount" of harmful Class B drugs off our streets

Police have seized around 1,000 cannabis plants from a property in Bodmin.

It comes after a raid was carried out at a disused business premises on Fore Street last week.

Officers carried out a warrant on Tuesday 18th January and say at the time, three men were arrested.

They added that this had taken a "considerable amount" of harmful Class B drugs out of circulation.

Posting on Facebook, Bodmin Police described it as a "fantastic result".

They said: "On the 18th of January 2022 Police conducted a drugs warrant at disused business premises on Fore Street in Bodmin.

"As a result of this, approximately 1,000 cannabis plants were located and three males were arrested.

"This is a fantastic result which takes a considerable amount of harmful Class B drugs out of circulation".
