Police in Cambridgeshire say they are trying to work out exactly when a serious collision took place in Cottenham.

A woman in her 40s was found in a ditch on Beach Road just after midnight on Monday 12 February.

Cambridgeshire Constabulary say she left for a walk at around 6pm the evening before.

She remains in hospital in a life-threatening condition.

The force are urging anyone with information, including dashcam footage, to get involved.

Detective Sergeant Craig Wheeler said:

"If you have dashcam footage, even if it doesn’t appear to show anything, this could be really helpful in enabling us to pinpoint the time the collision took place.

"Any information you have, no matter how small, could be crucial to our investigation."

Anyone with information is being asked to report it online, or call 101, quoting Incident 513 on 11 February.
