Wisbech Adventure Playground to reopen next week after repairs
The popular attaction was closed last month due to damaged equipment
A popular children's attraction in Wisbech is set to reopen next week.
Wisbech Adventure Playground was shut last month due to damaged equipment at the Waterlees Road site.
Cambridgeshire County Council has now completed work to make the site safe once again, with a planned reopening next Tuesday (July 18).
The damaged equipment has been removed, with longer term plans to install more accessible attractions for children with disabilities.
It comes after Cambridgeshire County Council secured £1m from the government, which will be put towards work to build a new youth centre at the site.
Two former canal barges on the site are also set to be replaced.
