Two people injured in crash on Fletton Parkway

Drivers faced heavy delays on the A1139 Fletton Parkway this morning after a crash involving three vehicles.

Emergency services were called at around 5:30am near the Orton Goldhay roundabout.

Officers and paramedics attended the scene and two people were hurt, though their injuries are not thought to be serious or life-threatening.

In a statement Cambridgeshire Police said: "We were called at 5.38am to the A1139 Fletton Parkway, close to the Orton Goldhay roundabout, involving three vehicles, which caused heavy delays in the area.

"Officers and paramedics attended and two people were injured as a result, but their injuries were not thought to be serious or life-threatening."
