Two people hit by car outside Cambridge supermarket

Officers and paramedics were called to the Asda car park at the Beehive Centre

Two people have been injured after being hit by a car outside an Asda in Cambridge.

Officers and paramedics were called to the Asda car park at the Beehive Centre, Coldham’s Lane, at about 12.10pm on Saturday 23rd December, after a black Honda Jazz collided with two pedestrians.

One of the pedestrians, a woman, from Cambridge, suffered serious injuries and was taken to Addenbrooke’s Hospital.

The other pedestrian, a man in his 70s, also from Cambridge, suffered minor injuries.

The driver of the Honda Jazz, a man in his 80s, from Cambridge, stayed at the scene and is helping with officers with their inquries.

Police are appealing for witnesses.
