Two men have been charged with murder following the death of a man in Cambridge.

Police were called by the ambulance service at 5.19am on Sunday with reports of a stabbing in Carlton Way.

The victim, a man in his 30’s, was pronounced dead in Ferrars Way just after 6am.

A post mortem examination, which took place yesterday afternoon (Wednesday 13th) concluded that the victim died from a stab wound to the chest.

Last night detectives from the Major Crime Unit charged Cameron Stokes, 23, of Highfield Close, Dinas Powys, South Wales and Tyler Marshall, 19, of no fixed address, with murder.

They are both due to appear at Huntingdon Magistrates’ Court this morning (14 March).
