Two men have been arrested following a stabbing in Cambridge earlier this week, which has left a 52 year-old man in a critical but stable condition in hospital.
Police were called at about 12 noon on Wednesday by the ambulance service with reports that a man had been stabbed in Nicholson Way, in the city.
Both of the 24 year olds have been arrested on suspicion of several offences that related to class A drugs and theft of a vehicle. But only one arrested on suspicion of attempted murder.
Both men were arrested in Cambourne yesterday evening and remain in custody at Parkside Police Station.
