Three men jailed for street fight in Chesterton in 2019

A group of men have been jailed for fighting with weapons including a machete, a knife and a baseball bat.

Three men have been jailed after taking part in a street fight in Chesterton back in 2019.

Police were called to the scene in Ashfield Road in Cambridgeshire on the 21st April that year, after reports a group of men had been fighting with weapons including a machete, a knife and a baseball bat.

43 year old Gordon Lee Gulliford from Stowmarket in Suffolk was jailed for a year after pleading guilty to affray at Cambridge Crown Court on Thursday.

23 year old Tommy Lee Gulliford was also jailed for 12 months on the 6th March for pleading guilty to the same charge.

Jimmy Willett, aged 22, was given 17 months, following on from a sentence for separate offences, after also pleading guilty to affray.

One man sustained injuries during the incident after a white Fiat car reversed into him.

Another man suffered serious but not life-threatening injuries.
