Third man charged in connection with Cambridge murder

Detectives have charged a third man in connection with the murder of a Cambridge man.

Police were called to reports of a stabbing in Carlton Way on 10 March.

Josh Barr, 31, of Victoria Road, was found in Ferrars Way with stab wounds and despite best efforts of paramedics, was pronounced dead at the scene.

On Friday, Calum Jones, 21, of The Boulevard, Canton, Cardiff, was charged with assisting an offender and being concerned in the supply of Class A drugs.

He has been remanded to appear at Cambridge Crown Court on 12 August.

Cameron Stokes, 23, of Highfield Close, Dinas Powys, South Wales and Tyler Marshall, 19, of no fixed address, were charged with Mr Barr’s murder in March and remanded in custody until a trial is due to take place in September.
