Man, 73, who died in Stonea motorcycle crash is named

A man who died following a two-vehicle crash in Stonea has been named.

Brian Dewey was riding an orange Kawasaki Vulcan motorbike on the Sixteen Foot Bank between Stonea and Manea on Saturday, 3rd June when he collided with a blue Volvo V60.

Emergency services were called just after 12pm and paramedics attended, but Mr Dewey, of Main Street, Little Thetford near Ely, died at the scene.

In a statement, his family said: ā€œBrian was much loved and will be sadly missed by all who knew him."

The driver of the vehicle, a 64-year-old woman, received minor injuries.

She remained at the scene and is assisting enquiries.
