Man in 'critical condition' after stabbing at Cambridge petrol station

Officers say no arrests have been made yet - after a man his 40s was stabbed at a petrol station in Cambridge this morning (5/4).

At around 2.30am, police were called to the BP garage on Cherry Hinton Road

The man is in a critical condition in hospital.

Detective Inspector Eliot Ducket said: “We were called at about 2.30am today (5 April) with reports of a stabbing at the BP garage in Cherry Hinton Road, Cambridge.

“Ambulance crews and officers attended the scene and an investigation is ongoing.

“The victim, a man in his 40s, was taken to hospital for treatment, where he remains in a critical but stable condition.

“No arrests have been made.

“There will be additional police patrols in the area today and overnight.”
