Spectator suffers cardiac arrest at Cambridge United match

Cambridge United say a spectator at last night's match who suffered a cardiac arrest, left the ground 'revived and conscious'.

The Club has thanked their staff for their 'exceptional efforts and professionalism' during the match last night, and have wished the fan a full and healthy recovery.

A statement, released by Cambridge United today, goes on to thank other fans who showed 'cooperation and compassion' during last night's medical incident, accepting how challenging it must have been for those in attendance

The Club's signposted to their mental health support partner, MyNurva, who have extended their offer of support to fans who may wish to use their 1:1 video therapy service.
