Woman in critical condition after e-bike crash in Cambridge
Police are now appealing for witnesses
An investigation is underway following a serious crash involving an e-bike in Cambridge.
Emergency services were called to New Square at just before 10am yesterday (1 April) with reports of a collision between an e-bike and a white Skoda Yeti.
The woman riding the e-bike was taken to Addenbrooke’s Hospital with serious injuries, where she remains.
The driver of the car, a woman in her 80s, was uninjured and remained at the scene.
Sergeant Claire Marland, from the road policing unit, said: “We are appealing for witnesses to the collision or anyone who saw either vehicle in the moments leading up to the incident. We would also like to hear from anyone who may have dashcam footage to come forward.”
