A flood warning has been issued for North Bank Road, near to Peterborough.

The Government say heavy rainfall over the past few days means the river levels have risen on the River Nene, and the water won't be able to escape at high tide.

It's thought that it might cause localised flooding for North Bank Road, between Peterborough and Rings End, east of Peterborough and West of Dog-in-a-Doublet Sluice.

The Local Authority have closed the road, with diversions in place, as members of the public are urged to avoid using the local footpaths.
