Masked burglars steal puppy from home in Toft

Detectives are asking for help to find a three-month-old Dachshund stolen during a burglary in Toft.

The puppy, named Peggy, was taken from a property in Hardwick Road between 4pm and 5pm yesterday (18 March). The burglars, who were wearing balaclavas, broke in through the rear patio doors and took Peggy from her crate.

Detective Sergeant Jon Lockwood, who is leading the investigation, said: “We would like to hear from anyone who has information about Peggy, or anyone who saw anything suspicious in the moments leading up to and after the burglary.”
