Peterborough United will have the chance to progress through to the League 1 Play-off Final at Wembley, if they beat Sheffield Wednesday on aggregate tonight.

The Posh already have a significant advantage over the Owls, taking a 4-0 first-leg score to Hillsborough.

It means it will take a minor miracle for Sheff Wednesday, who finished 19 points above Peterborough in League 1, to progress through.

Posh fans considered themselves big underdogs in the first-leg, having only made the play-offs on the last game of the season.

Wednesday, who finished the season in 3rd place and just two points from automatic promotion, were the strong favourites to win over the two matches.

Despite all that Peterborough United caused a massive upset - blowing Sheff Wednesday away in an electric performance at The Weston Homes Stadium on Friday 12th May.

Back at the first time of asking?

If Peterborough progress past Wednesday tonight, they'll face Bolton or Barnsley at Wembley at 3pm on Monday, May 29.

Should the Posh be victorious in the capital, they'll be promoted straight back to The Championship after one season away.

Bolton are away to Barnsley for their second-leg tie tomorrow night, with the fixture precariously poised at 1-1.
