Police appeal following serious collision in Huntingdon

Police are appealing for witnesses following a collision involving a car and a mobility scooter in Huntingdon.

The collision happened at about 6pm on Friday on Kings Ripton Road, between a blue VW Polo estate and a black mobility scooter.

Emergency services attended and the mobility scooter rider, a man in his 50s from Huntingdon, was taken to Addenbrooke’s Hospital with serious injuries where he remains.

The driver of the Polo, a woman in her 20s from Huntingdon, was uninjured and remained at the scene.

Anyone with information is being urged officers on 101.
